A mid-sized firm that recently upgraded from QuickBooks to SAGE Intacct.
Challenge:
The migration from QuickBooks did not result in the the Senior Management Team’s expected operational gains. The processes related to Orders-to-Cash was significantly hampered by the new system and the Accounting team was becoming frustrated. Customers did not have visibility into their billing and payments, and the IT team was struggling to meet the expectations of the Senior Management team.
Solution:
Stone Brook Solutions mapped out the Orders-to-Cash process and reviewed the current operations. We also interviewed the Accounting Team, the IT team and consulted with a SAGE Intact implementation team. From the data gathered, and collaboration with the aforementioned teams, Stone Brook Solutions created a migration path to facilitate the needs of both the Accounting team and the customers. Stone Brook Solutions also provided project oversight and leadership over the disparate teams and stakeholders.
Results:
A near 100% automation of the Orders-To-Cash process, reduced effort required by the Accounting team, and a 60% reduction in customer calls to the Accounting team for ordering and payment support. Also, Stone Brook Solutions interfaced with the Senior Management Team through a weekly status meeting to keep them abreast of the progress, success, and challenges during the project.
